ELECTRIC CHAMBER FURNACE
APPLICATION
For general heat-treatment of steel, such as hardening, annealing and normalising. Ideal for pack carburising.
DESIGN
Suitable fabricated steel casing. Counter balanced vertical lifting door, set with high temperature brick. Refractories made out of sillimanite.
HEATING
Double branch Electric Resistance Heating elements (in the form of spirals) of suitable surface load. Heaters provided on all four sides. Easily replaceable without distributing the lining.
TEMP.CONTROL
By automatic indicating type temparature controller actuated by a thermocouple in conjunction with a suitable contactor and electrical accessories kept on a separate control panel.
SAFETY DEVICES
Door switch and broken thermocouple device provided with the controller.

ELECTRODE SALT BATH FURNACE
APPLICATION
Designed for operation of carburising and cyanide-containing annealing baths, upto 950°C as well as cyanide-free annealing baths upto 850°C. Useful for carburising Case Hardening Steel, heat treatment of Medium Carbon Steel, Tool Steel, as well as for annealing of non-ferrous metals, except light alloys.
DESIGN
Substantial sheet steel casing with high grade heat-insulation, with a pot fabricated of mild steel. Salt vapours are exhausted by a fume hood, connected to a separate air exhauster.
HEATING
By direct flow of low alternating current, through the molten salt between the immersed electrodes. The salt heated by virtue of its own resistance, resulting in highest utilisation of energy and long-service life of the pot. The furnace works at a low voltage(below 16volts) through a step-down transformer with a 10-position tapping switch. A removable starting device for melting down the bath is provided.
TEMP.CONTROL
Thermocouple in conjunction with a temperature controller, which switches automatically on/off the heating circuit through a contactor, thus enabling constant maintenance of the desired value of the bath temperature.
Clear temperature indication on a large indicator controller 'L' type thermocouple provided for actuating the controller.

FORCED AIR CIRCULATION FURNACE
APPLICATION
For tempering of steel upto 750 C. Ideal for Heat Treatment of Aluminium Alloy Casting.
DESIGN
Suitable sheet metal casting with 175 to 200 mm high grade heat insulation. Lift and swing type door opening of slight pressure. Powerful blower provided at bottom for efficient air circulation. Refractory insulators made of sillimanite.
HEATING
Double branch electric resistance heating elements in the form of coils kept on the refractory insulators. Suitable heat resistant steel shell provided, along with sturdy work basket.
TEMP.CONTROL
By automatic temperature controller in conjunction with a Thermocouple and suitable contractor provided on a separate control panel.

BOGIE HEARTH FURNACE
APPLICATION
For various industrial heat treatment operations like preheating , hardening, annealing, normalising, stress relieving etc.
DESIGN
Rectangular horizontal type with movable hearth and vertical lifting door. Heating chamber formed out of heavy high temperature sillimanite refractories with grooves to support heating element on top side walls. High grade insulating brick lining of adequate thickness prevents heat loss and keeps furnace skin temperature minimum. Alternatively ceramic fibre insulation can be provided to improve efficiency.
HEATING ELEMENT
Double branched hair pin type resistance element with reinforced and terminals connected on furnace rear side facilitating easy individual replacement.
BOGIE
Manual or electrical operated incorporating electric motor, reduction gear, electromagnetic brake and limit switches.
CONTROL
By indicating automatic temperature controller along with other accessories centralised in separate floor mounted control cubicle.
SAFETY DEVICE
Interlock between door and bogie, door and heating elements and broken thermocouple safety device for controller.
